Can I be involved in treatment?
Program specifics — what a family member can attend, visiting arrangements, how discharge planning works — are set by the clinical team, and none of it is settled until Golden Grove is licensed and staffed. Admissions can tell you where that stands.
What do I say?
Say what you have seen and what you are worried about, in plain terms, without an ultimatum attached. Ask what they want. The most useful thing a family member can offer is a phone number and a ride, not an argument.
How do I set a boundary?
A boundary describes what you will do, not what they must do — "I will not give you money" rather than "you have to quit." It holds without withdrawing the relationship, which is what makes it different from an ultimatum.
