Admissions · Process

The admissions process, step by step.

Seven stages that take you from the call through the start of treatment. Here's what each one looks like.

A real conversation

Whichever way you reach us, someone on our team is on the other end.

Admissions runs the call from start to finish. We listen to what's going on, ask the questions the clinical team needs answered, and tell you exactly what happens next. No phone trees. No forms to chase down.

From call to treatment

Seven stages, one path.

You had the courage to reach out. We're here to help. Here's how.

  1. 1

    The call

Call (502) 610-4829. Admissions answers. We learn what's going on, get your plan name, and check coverage on the call.

  2. 2

    A clinical conversation

While you're on the phone, we talk through what's going on with your substance use, mental health, and current safety. This is a conversation, not a full clinical assessment — that comes at the facility.

  3. 3

    Authorization

We submit any required authorization and move on it right away. Authorization comes back as fast as same day.

  4. 4

    Scheduling

With authorization in hand, we schedule your admission and walk through what to expect when you arrive.

  5. 5

    Welcome to Golden Grove

Intake includes a medical evaluation and paperwork. For detox admits, medication management is part of the clinical plan when appropriate.

  6. 6

    Treatment

Each level of care follows a structured schedule. Medical detox, residential, partial hospitalization, and co-occurring disorders care — with medication-assisted treatment as part of the plan where it fits.

  7. 7

    Discharge planning

Discharge planning starts on day one, not the end. By the time you leave, you have a clear continuing-care plan.
